Our last afterwork event of the year was held on December 18, 2024 at GRAND CENTRAL @ Halles de l’Île!

This afterwork event centered around journalism and the information it produces. In an age filled with an abundance of different sources, how do journalists ensure accuracy? The event featured Séverine Ambrus, a journalist and producer of the 19.30 news at Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS).

Séverine shed light on news coverage based on her 15 years of editorial experience in various roles. You might know her, for example, as a correspondent in German-speaking Switzerland.

The discussion will rotated around the importance of an independent press in a democracy, the process of crafting a story within an editorial team and how a story becomes a headline.
