Anticipating the Future of Neurotechnology – Immersive Anticipatory Lab

About

On World Science Day for Peace and Development, Geneva Macro Labs and ge-ni join WHO/EURÊKA and GESDA for the launch of WHO’s Together for Science & Health movement at the Geneva Health Forum.

📅 10 November 2026, 13:30–17:15 CET (Lab: 14:45–16:35 CET)
📍 Campus Biotech, Geneva

As part of the opening session “Strengthening evidence-informed and participatory policy-making for better health”, we host Anticipating the Future of Neurotechnology, an Immersive Anticipatory Lab. Drawing on GESDA’s Neurotechnology Diplomacy Game, participants step into a plausible future in which brain–computer interfaces have transformed healthcare and society. In seven small groups — each taking one science diplomacy lens (Intellectual Property & Access; Ethics & Human Rights; Geopolitics & International Cooperation; Economic Sovereignty; Equity & Inclusion; Security & Weaponization; and Capacity Building & Brain Drain) — participants weigh the opportunities, tensions and trade-offs, then come together in a closing plenary to reflect on what the international community should decide today.

Jointly organised by WHO/EURÊKA, GESDA and Geneva Macro Labs / ge-ni.
